My mission in sharing the images in this website is to share my sense of wonder about the natural world.  I’m lucky enough to live in the countryside, surrounded by fields, woods and trees and the seasons are very evident as they unfold.  I don’t have to look far to see something striking or beautiful and the challenge is to try to capture that moment so that I can share the magic with others.  As you’ll see, some of those moments are more easily caught on camera than others:  when a flower opens to perfection; when the light is right and the landscape sings the season or the bluebells are at their glorious best.  Others are so fleeting that – hesitate a moment – and the butterfly has lifted up and away from the blossom and the sky has changed.
